ESCADA Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show highlighted this weekend. The collection itself was my favorite, with earthy colors and younger silhouette. Hotel de L'Opera (often known as Dan Chu Hotel) turned out to be a very good venue choice. It's one of the newest places in town with perfect fashion-show setting, close to the store, and locates right in the happening area (despite the fact that its furniture gives me the chills of a "Guangzhou" quality). The well-done production and program gave the audience a true fashion show, not like other creepy performance arts that every one else is doing.
I was so happy to see my idea of turning a celebrity into a "vedette" finally came true with the last look on Ms. Le Khanh. She was stunning, gracious and all beautiful. My Linh's exclusive performance was also very lovely (yes, she's my idol!) but it might have been better with a classier setting.
My only minus for the show is the "overacting" of all the models. Why the hell can't they just walk normally? I detest how they all tried so hard to show off those bizarre poses and "not-so-sexy" moves!
